I sit alone, just thinking about this mystery
That great unknown, where do I go from here?
Is life a test, is there gonna be a place for me
In that great beyond when I die
Among the angels up on high?
I want to leave my worries behind.
But what if heaven is here, what if heaven in now
What if angels are the people who surround us
How would I spend my time
Would I be different if these eyes of mine
Could see the light of heaven shining through others eyes
Would I realize, I’m not alone and I have nothing to fear

And I wonder why, it always ends the same.
The sun goes down, I’m kneeling beside my bed to pray
That if I should die before I wake
Send the angels my soul to take
Lift me up into that heavenly place...

Would I be conscious of my light divine

Would I recognize, the angels in my life who are near
